The road out of Manic 5 had some ashphalt (usually very bumpy), compacted sand and gravel, and some more muddy sections. It's tough seeing all of this nice scenery when you have to concentrate where you are going, what to avoid. I saw many porcupines, a beaver, and a young bear today.
